Flexibility and Linkages
- Six-month period French language

- A preparatory semester
allows students who did not complete their Secondary Education to have access to the first year of studies.
- The first year of studies offers a common curriculum before the choice of specialization..
- Whether enrolling in the preparatory or in the first year, an entry is possible both in September and in January.
- At the end of the first year, it is possible to opt for a Certificate of Accelerated Training
by completing a 3-month long internship and by providing an internship report.
- Between the first and the second year of studies an internship of at least 1 month should be completed..

a mandatory 6-month long mandatory internship and the completion of a dissertation..
- Students who complete their studies can pursue a Bachelors degree in Tourism at the ULB..

Preparatory Semester
:
The preparatory semester is meant for candidates who do not hold a high-school diploma. It is not a “central jury” system. If successfully completed, this training only gives access to the various sections offered within the Charles Peguy Institute.

Tourism
:
The objectives of the first year of studies, which is common to all students, aim at developing versatitlity, which is essential in the constantly changing professional environment they will be confronted with: language proficiency, general knowledge courses, tarifing techniques, knowledge of T. O. tourism products, sales; marketing and communication, accounting and data processing (Word, Excel, Access…)

Hotel Management :
The hotel business and the lodging industry in general are economic sectors in full development. That is the reason why they are vital vectors of employment. Students need to acquire a number of qualities and diversified skills. Being polyvalent and flexible has become a necessity.
